I'm taking a short break here from designing/knitting and thought you might like to see a few of my favorite things..... these are my collection of old potholders. I think the handiwork seen here is just outstanding. Every now and then I drop in on our local antique mall and will pick up a few. I am just amazed at the hours of work that went into them. And since they were created in the 30s, 40s, & 50s my imagination just wonders what was happening in the lives of the women who knit and crocheted these beautiful works of art.
