Let your light so shine

I've always loved lighthouses, even before they were so popular. Whenever I see one, I'm drawn to their beauty and a sense of comfort they invoke in me.

I'm reminded of the passage in Matthew where Jesus is speaking to a crowd teaching them about the principles of Heaven and he says "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Over the past few days I've gotten reports from ladies who posted on the "We Can Change The World" blog about how they've already put into action what they would do to show others kindness and love. I'm thinking about how we can share how these ladies have NOT kept their lights under a bowl, but who are now letting their lights to shine in a cold and dark world.
