Any way, as I was praying and driving this morning I was asking God what he wanted me to share... it's been a while since I've posted and God gave me this...
I have a very human tendency to carry burdens to the Lord, believing Him to pick them up and run with them (just like the children do in the game above) but so often in the past when I've dropped the burden and ran back to my place of safety, I continue around the circle to pick the burden up again... What I am learning the closer I get to God is that there is no need to run that extra way around the circle... once I drop the burden, I should trust God to do His job. It works better if I don't try to do it for him.
Psalms 68: 19
19 Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior,
who daily bears our burdens.

That's very insightful. It's hard because we don't always see that the burdens have been picked up. I find it hard to sit if I can't see that something has been taken care of. I appreciated your story about the rock as well.
