I just have to mention this book "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn. I've read almost everything for the layman that has been written on Heaven. And for me, this is the ultimate book!!! I LOVE IT!!! And so far this is the first book that I've read that is the combination of every thing that I believe Heaven to be. For those of us who are on our journey to this very REAL world that God has created for us some day, I'd encourage you to pick up a copy and spend some time thinking about 'where your treasure' really is.
(by clicking on the cover you can learn more about the book & where you can buy it)
I also wanted to draw your attention to one of my favorite songs on the playlist... it's called
I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever Sung By Delirious and written by Martin Smith. The words are below:
I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever
Over the mountains and the sea,
Your river runs with love for me,
and I will open up my heart
and let the Healer set me free.
I'm happy to be in the truth,
and I will daily lift my hands:
for I will always sing of when
Your love came down. [Yeah!]
I could sing of Your love forever,
I could sing of Your love forever,
I could sing of Your love forever,
I could sing of Your love forever. [Repeat]
Oh, I feel like dancing -
it's foolishness I know;
but, when the world has seen the light,
they will dance with joy,
like we're dancing now.

I am so thankful for all the joy, and peace, and many blessings God has given over this week... from chats with my BFF Bonnie, to watching the snow geese outside my window, to having my Piper snuggle, to seeing my hubby's eyes filled with thankfulness and reminiscing about how far God has brought us, to being thankful that our kids are all healthy, to being blessed with a bonus that was more than the tithe/pledge we made to the 700 Club, to being able to talk to my Mom & knowing my Dad is here with us, to being able to use what little God has given me to bless others, these are the things I count as my blessings. What are you thankful for? Don't ever forget that it's not how much you have it's what you do with it. Rick & I have learned over this past year that you can never EVER out give God.

i LOVE the "Heaven" book too :) i gave it as a gift to my friend but i couldn't help checking it out for myself before giving it to her :) i love the fact that it goes back to Biblical references and emphasizes that what we think about heaven today has drifted far away from what has been revealed in the Bible :)
i love your site too! :) (sorry if i'm quite at a loss for words this morning ;p) it's a blog and so much more! The quizzes are a welcome addition...The pictures are wonderful. i came across your site looking for images for our Kids' Church :)
Continue to be a blessing to friends old and new as you share your walk with God to us :) God bless you! :)
