Sunday Rick and I celebrated another wonderful year together. We are so blessed to have found each other. We may not have riches and gold, but what we do have is priceless. I never in all my dreams would have ever thought that I would find myself in this kind of relationship. God has blessed me so much.
We celebrated with a 'date night' reminiscing of all the times past that brought us as close as we are today... music, our wedding video, sights, sounds, reliving the day together... these memories are the things I value most in my life. For it's in my husband's unconditional love and protection that I see God's love for His Church. I can honestly say we never fight... we talk and discuss, but we always try to listen to each other's hearts and meet those needs.
We were married on this beach on Oahu. This is Makapuu Beach. As the minister closed the ceremony he spoke about our home being like an island were we can come and relax and find peace in the midst of the storms of life. And that's exactly what we find... a shelter in times of turmoil and uncertainty. Right above us was Makapuu Lighthouse. It symbolizes the True light that guides our life togetherI thank God for my husband and for the love we share.
