Painting With Thread

One of the most recent miracles in my life has been to get new glasses that make me able to see well enough to cross stitch again. Many years ago, I taught myself how to 'paint with thread' using simple cross stitches that individually didn't look like much... but when put side by side would become a beautiful picture with many varients of color. I love watching as I follow a pattern that isn't on the fabric and within a short time... voila! I've created something that I couldn't have on my own.

This is what I'm working on now... each day or so I plan to show my progress...

This is a rather large project. There will be 12 hearts, a border, and a Bible verse to tie it all together. Hope you stop back again and see the progress.
