Beautiful Colors

I just wanted to share some of the new yarns that I've collected over the past few weeks. I LOVE the colors. Starting from the tan Bernat (Colonial Color) and moving to the right... Lily Sugar'n Cream English Lavender, and a wonderful Confectionary Color (Wine) which is resting upon another Confectionary Color (Smokey Wine) [more about these in a minute], and then a nice skein of Lion Cotton Natural, and another Colonial Color (Boston Blue), finally another new color combo from Sugar'n Cream (Weathered Rose). I have plans for all of these as well as those used in my last grouping.

For those of you who are knitters, I wanted to let you all know of a great place to order from... Marie's Yarn and More is a fantastic place to shop!!! I came across her e-store while searching on line for other colors in the Bernat and Sugar'n Cream yarns. And when I found Marie's I was so surprised to see so many different colors that she offers. I ordered the Smokey Wine and the Wine colors that are going to be perfect for Christmas from Marie on Wed and it was here TODAY!!! from Michigan to Washington State!!!!! THAT is wonderful delivery only $7.95!!! As soon as I opened the box and saw that the yarn was exactly as I had seen it in my mind's eye, I had to send a 'thank you' off to Marie!! I asked her if she would be able to help those knitting my designs with obtaining the yarn if they'd like to knit up a pattern in the same yarn, and she was so happy to assist. So ladies, if you see a color you like, but can't find it in your local stores, go check her out. And remember... she has the large sized skeins as well as some of the smaller size. She also carries other yarns, too. I'm so excited!!! I have yet to use up any of the large skeins that I've purchased over the past 2 years that I've been creating cloths and you all know how many I HAVE :)lol!!! Another tidbit about the Bernat & Sugar'n Cream yarns... I know there's a lot said about these yarns versus Peaches & Creme, but what I've found is that they do NOT fade as quickly as the Peaches & Creme. I might take a few pictures in the next day or so to explain further what I mean. I also find that the larger skeins (12 - 14 ozs) are softer.

I'm so very thankful every morning that I open my eyes and can see all the beautiful and wonderful colors God has used in His creation!!! They never cease to amaze me...
