My Favorite Time Of The Year

The First Day Of School!!
I could hardly wait... even when I was teaching, I found it hard to sleep the night before school was to start :)

Whenever I visit my family in Piqua, Ohio, I love to visit this area... it's so peaceful and calm... it's like being hundreds of miles from life's troubles.

I love looking at the world as a child... many times, while teaching, the children and I would go and just look up... they taught me so many things, I miss them :)

Isn't this tree beautiful.. so perfectly shaped.. so colorful.. but without it's neighboring trees it wouldn't be as beautiful as it is... kinda like us... we need each others so our differences can be seen, and our beauty made known.

I remember the day I took this picture. It was a cool crisp day and as I gazed up I just stood there in amazement at the beauty of the colors God has created. The brights against the blue and white, no artist could have painted it that lovely.
