Finished Lori Bag

I finally figured out just what needed to go on this bag to finish it... it's an angel carrying a heart. Lori (my sister-in-law) is still hospitalized. Doctors still can not find a reason for her being so ill. When she entered, she had lost over 15lbs taking her way below 100lbs (she stands about 5'3") She had lost so much blood that her blood count was 7. Her body had begun shutting down in that her kidneys and liver were not functioning at normal levels. And her colon was inflamed. She's had biopsies, bone marrow tests, all kinds of blood tests, up and lower gi tests and still nothing. Please continue to pray for her recovery. She has a husband and 2 sons who need her. That is why I decided to put an angel on the bag. I did create the crocheted angel and then used wool roving for the hair. The angel is also embellished with a partial crocheted doily for the wing and a heart button that she carries. I will be making this pattern available on the Schaefer Design Studio website probably in a week or so.

Your bag is so beautiful and I am so sorry they still have not found out what is wrong with Lori! I will keep her in my prayers and you and your families! I will hope for an answer! hugs Linda
