What I'm working on now

I've got 3 little cowpokes that are going to get these cute cowboy vests for Christmas. Joseph and Andrew are twins and just turned 3 and their older brother Weston will soon be 5. As soon as I saw this pattern I knew I would have to make it for them. As a preschool teacher one of my most favorite units is about cowpokes. I am hoping that they have as much fun with dressing up as a cowboy as my school kids did at playing cowboys and cowgirls.

I happened to be at the Dollar Tree this weekend and they had the cutest cowboy hats, sheriff's badge, and handcuff set, so of course I got those to go along with the vest. I think they will just be the cutest things :) LOL

This is the beginning of the first of the cowboy vests. The pattern seems simple so far. I haven't crocheted in a while and have to go a bit slower than when I knit. This is the bottom of the back of the vest. It's worked from the bottom up.

This is the Third day of the mid-month Sept. Dishcloth KAL. These are a lot of fun because you don't always know what you're making until you get to the end. But I think this one is really taking shape nicely. It's very lacy and soft. It will be fun to see what the whole pattern looks like when completed.
