More Blessings...

I just had to share what I've been doing today between my knitting/designing time. :) For so many years I have not been able to enjoy eating a good apple. The anemia that I suffered from played havoc with my teeth. BUT NOT NOW!!!!! :) And being up here in the Great Northwest, I just had to take advantage of some very good apple prices. Rick and I have been enjoying a lot of Waldorf Salad lately. But today I wanted to try something different. The last time I had one of these types of 'Caramel Apples' it had been a gift. I relished every bite... that was about 10 years ago. I remember trying to make it last as long as I could because it was such a treat. I'll let you all know how they came out once we cut into one of them. The smallest apple is dipped in caramel and then in milk chocolate. The medium apple is dipped in caramel, then in chopped pecans, and then in milk chocolate. And the 'Papa' apple is dipped in caramel, then in a wonderful Salty, Sweet, & Nutty Granola from Trader Joe's, and then drizzled with milk chocolate. I hope they are as yummy as they look :)

Very early in my teaching career I taught at a Christian Montessori school in Pearl City, Hawaii (The Children's House) we would always invite the children to sample or to share in snacks that we would make as a group and we would say "Children, taste and see the goodness of the Lord". :) He loves giving His Children the desires of their hearts.
