What a wonderful blessing...

I am always amazed at what the Lord puts in my life for me to experience. I've had such wonderful things happen in my teaching life... things that I would never have dreamed would have happened to me. From receiving a large grant from Wal-Mart to having one of my preschool curriculum programs featured in the Smithsonian as an up and coming success programs of the ASYMCA... to having been offered the sun and the moon if I would only stay at a wonderful school... to having parents and grandparents active in classroom projects... to having parents beg me not to leave the school that I was teaching because they wanted their child in my class. What a wonderful time I had teaching.

But now, God has put me in a different place so I could experience new things. He has totally taken me by surprised with Harvest Moon Designs. What started as a means to supplement our family income has become a way for me to bless others with designs that He gives me.

And isn't it wonderful how He brings people together? I would never have thought a year ago that I would have one of my designs used to encourage others. But just today I received Wanda Brunstetter's newsletter and low and behold, she included a little article about my designs with a link to my site. She has knit 5 of my designs "Riding Through Lancaster" and is offering them as prizes for the first 5 who review one of her newest books just published. How exciting!

I've also had one of my designs posted on Peaches 'n Creme website. I think the exposure there will really be exciting. And there's more... in the next few days, there will be another big surprise!! You'll have to come back and see what that might be ;)

Every morning when I wake I wonder "What do you have in store for me today, Lord?" I guess we'll just have to wait and see...
