Recreational Reading...

Today I finished the best Christian Fiction book I've read in a long time. When I picked it up at the library, I wasn't sure how I'd like it because it is one of those small 'cheap' paperbacks. But if they all are as well written as this one, I'm putting them all on my reading list. The name of the Book is "Death Benefits" by Hannah Alexander and it is in the Love Inspired Suspense series.

What drew me to this book to start with was that a lot of the story took place on Kauai, Hawaii and you all know about how much I LOVE Hawaii. And then it was to be a mystery in the story (I don't want to give anything away, but there were a few mysteries). Since it was shorter than the last book I read, I thought it would be a fast read (which it was). Finally, I wanted to read something that had Christian characters dealing with everyday problems. This book had it all!!!

I would recommend this book to anyone who might be looking for that book you can drop in your knitting bag or in your purse to take with you to those ballgame practices or the dr's office or a long car ride.

I also liked that the authors took the time to point out lessons we can learn from the story & it's characters.
