In this third teaching of Randy Alcorn's we look at the Earth being renewed, not completely destroyed but brought to a state where there will be a regeneration, just as our own bodies will be regenerated when we met Jesus in the air at his return.
As I was driving today I told God about how Rick and I've lived in 2 of the most beautiful places on Earth (Hawaii & Washington) and I've been to so many other wonderful places in the US (all the states but Alaska) and the thing that just blows me away is the array of greens and blues there are on this planet. Something so simple as looking at the contrasting greens against the blue sky or seeing the marine blue of the ocean against the powder blue of the horizon will often times cause my soul to soar and my praises ring out "God, what a beautiful world"
And then I realize that as beautiful as this Earth is now, in it's state of decay, how much more magnificent will it been when it has been restored to that which God had created in the beginning. I can't imagine!!! But I can tell you that those thoughts alone make me want to live my life today in anticipation of the life to come when God, himself, will walk among us on this Earth and all His children will be able to enjoy the beauty of His creative power!!!!
