If My People Pray...

No, I didn't watch the debates. Minds have already been made up and where ever I turn I see people fighting and saying such ugly things about those who really are trying to do something positive for our country. Instead, I spent my hour and a half praying for our country. With all the things that are happening here with the economy, with natural disasters, with 'the war' wouldn't you think America should be looking to the one who can answer and show us the way out of these things? But we aren't... instead people on the left and people on the right and those from the blue states and those from the red states are looking instead to one man to get us out the the situation that WE are all in!!! WE'VE done this to ourselves. I'm a product of the 50's/60's when our parents did all they could to give us all we wanted, then when I had my own children, I did the same thing for them, but now the sad thing is... my son is finding it hard to give his children the things they want because each day he is threatened with the possibility that his job will be moved to Mexico... but then I thought... 'aren't they coming to the US because they don't have jobs'? I remember way back in the '70s, while in college, they told us then that we wouldn't see any of our social security... well, as I get closer to that age... I'm thinking maybe 'they' were right... 'they' said a lot back then about the future and so far... most everything has come true. One of those things that I pray for every day is that our country (its people) need a revival. One in which we would see all the blessings God has given us and many would submit themselves to Him... see our need for His guidance... and truly follow in Jesus' footsteps. The only way that will happen is when and "If My People Pray"
