As expected it's only 6:35pm and the election has already been called. Why should anyone in the West even go and vote. Since the President is decided through the Electoral College, individual votes don't really count. I'm so happy it's all over. Now the time of real prayer begins. Yesterday I listened to a minister yesterday reminded Christians that God is always in control and through this election he just might be trying to tell us something... we have broken so many of His commandments and we have treated him like dirt and thrown him out of places where he was held at the highest esteem... all so that our own lives can be made better... let the government pay for all our health care... let them pay everyone's mortgages... let them take over private businesses and enterprises... let them take over our IRAs and bank accounts... but it's all for the betterment of our country... for society? Sounds like socialism. Sounds just like Europe in the mid-1930s. We are so human... we never learn... history repeats itself... "all we like sheep have gone astray"... we will follow anyone who tells us just what we want to hear... there are people all over the world who think we are arrogant and self-righteous... hmmm.... sounds like they just might be right. But tomorrow's another day and we will rejoice and be glad!!! :)
