As a post script, Billy Graham has played a very important part in my spiritual life. I accepted Jesus into my heart at the age of 9 and was then baptized. After that I was very active in my home church and a turning point in my life came in 1972 when, as a Senior in High School, I attended a Billy Graham Expo '72 youth rally in Dallas, Texas. It was there that I took another step in my spiritual growth in that I dedicated my life to doing God's will and that He called me into the teaching/childrens/family ministries. And I still long to serve. Most of that comes from my love for my Savior and the mission Dr Graham spoke and challenged us to way back all those years ago.

Our reason for doing things...
I absolutely find the Heaven book by Randy Alcorn to be one of the most encouraging and exciting books I've read in a long time. I know I talk a lot about it, but that's because I go back over many chapters so I don't miss anything. Well, today in my study, I was reminded about a song from way back that really touched me and encouraged me as I taught in Christian schools as a young teacher who wondered if 'my work' would touch the future. I want to share that song with you. It really does give us a real reason for doing what we do. How little do we realize that what we do, or say, or give to others, really may be revealed when we do get to Heaven. When I was teaching, my heart's desire was to someday be able to see how all those hundreds of children that have gone through my classroom turned out. Now I have hopes that I will in Heaven :)
